stixx2002 1 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hi all - I have noticed over the past couple of weeks that the server application is downloading metadata for seasons and episodes that I do not have recorded and saved on my PC. I have since turned all of this functionality off within the settings (at least I think I have). However, can you tell me what folder(s) captures all of this data so I can delete and effectively start from scratch? I use a separate app for downloading metadata, so I don't really use this functionality within MB3. Thanks!
stixx2002 1 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Someone must have some insight. Anyone?
stixx2002 1 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 what is the specific issue you're seeing? I use the media center client to playback recorded TV. Starting a couple weeks ago, the server seems to be pulling in seasons and episode metadata for those that I have nothing recorded for. For example, I have recorded the current season of episode 5 of the TV show Modern Family recorded. However, the server is pulling in previous season banners and episodes as well. I can upload an image when I get back home tonight if this still isn't making sense.
stixx2002 1 Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 OK - I did ensure those two options were unchecked, but I still get posters for seasons I dont have any video files attached to. Any other suggestions?
ebr 16177 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Can I please see an entire screen shot of that series with a season expanded and one of the missing episodes selected. And then the MBC log from that session. Thanks.
stixx2002 1 Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 So I decided to uninstall MBC and the server and then reinstall everything. The problem is no longer apparent. If it pops up again, I will update this post.
