Some pdf formatted books not being imported/shown

Hi,

 

I have a couple of pdfs that are not being shown in the way that all the others are.

 

e.g. This is the view most have when opening the books section. it shows all the authors:

 

 

Then clicking on the author will show the book(s) page:

 

 

When clicking on the book we get the detailed book page:

 

 

Now the "problem" pdf's dont have the book page and when clicking the author, jump directly to the detailed book page.

 

I also noticed that all the problem pdf's are missing the folder icon in the top right corner of the author page: See a good working pdf on the left and the problem pdf on the right.

 

 

Any idea how to fix this?

Jumping straight to the book is normal if there is only one book in the folder.

most of the others have 1 book and dont jump. example image above (Gandhi) only has 1 pdf

sorry yes, that is the correct one, the following attached is the problem one:

The issue is that we need to do a better job of handling mish-mash folder structures, or really, any folder structure. I've created a ticket on our tracker for this:

Maybe it can be combined with the scraper api I suggested before and the author field fix.
