computerprep 148 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 The Android app and to support split screen operation, but when focus is pulled away from Emby to whatever other app is running, playback immediately pauses. This would be an excellent feature to allow.

computerprep 148 Posted February 11, 2018 Author Posted February 11, 2018 I'm on a Pixel 2 XL. Android version shouldn't be a problem. I can PIP, but playback stops in dual-app mode. PIP, like this attached screenshot works fine. Screenshot in original post does not continue when focus is shifted to other app.

Splitting an Android's screen between two apps, Emby pauses whenever the other app is tapped/focus goes to the other app. YouTube works perfectly in this split app mode. So it's not an Android limitation. YouTube is actively playing while typing this response in the screenshot below.
