The windows account can access the shares and read/write to them with no problem using standard windows explorer network browsing. The Emby service is set to use the windows domain account on start up.( just set and made no difference) .. Only Emby can no longer access shares. Any suggestions? Edited February 16, 2018 by bflagg

I just restarted the service again, and now it can read the shares....and it's populating now.I have no idea why it would fail like this then start up again. I'm open to any idea to check into... now I wait to see if the defenders will populate....
Luke 42078 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 I can't answer about what is happening in your personal environment but what i can suggest is simplifying and running without the windows service first to ensure successful operation, and then go from there.

I'm updating you all that it's now reading all files as it should..The only thing I have actually done is set the Emby service to start with the domain credentials that I login with on this dedicated pc. I have a few other questions of which I will post as a new thread. Again, Thank you all very much. Brett
