Blocking external IP attempts to connect ?

Hi all,

 

My emby has been a point of interest of somebody recently. My log shows multiple (failed) attempts by someone to connect via all available users. I know the IP of the person trying to connect. Is there any way to tell emby to ignore attempts from that IP (or a range of IPs for that matter) ?

Hi, no, but it's possible for the future. Best thing to do right now is block it using your router settings.

Too bad , it is complicated in my case to tweak router here. I did file a request for a feature.

Beginning with the next release of Emby Server, you'll be able to restrict incoming traffic by IP address:
