PaucS 0 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Hello! I have two BIG problems with my Emby app on Android TV! 1.) The Sound in TV Shows (only TV shows, movies are all right) is bad. It is late, therfore it is not sync with picture and it is generaly not good. You can hear like little noise in the background. 2.) When I watch the movie, when I stopped it or put it on pause, the sound on the background is still going on!?!?! WTF? Like it is not stopped? Do you understand me? I press stop, picture goes in menu, but after 2,3 sec the sound goes on!? Please, please help me! I paid for the app and it must work! FYI, when I had app at my Samsung Smart TV it was perfect, but now with android tv I have such problems!!!

Squarre for symbol.

PaucS 0 Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Yes, that is the name. PaucS Well my problem with sound is probably not in the logs. As I said, sound is not sync with picture and after I finished watching epp or movie, the sound still playes in background.

I also had a bunch of movies I had ripped from Bluray,dvd etc and they were all stereo, the TV shows where 5.1 surround. OP, if your device has a option to turn off surround, or use the setting in the emby android tv app to downmix to stereo. The downmix options resolved it for me as well as turning off the surround in the Shield settings. (I didn't see what device you are using). 1
