Starting a movie loads a trailer of another movie

I am finalizing the emby config after many hours of working on it and noticed that after having waited for almost 12 hours for the library scan to finish (which was weird of itself) I clicked on different movies within the web gui and android app which would start a different trailer video of another movie instead of playing the movie selected.

 

I restarted the emby service without any change in behavior.

 

Any idea why this is and how to fix this?

Thanks @@Luke, for some reason it was the cinema mode. Not sure why it only now started to pop up, as I had tested a few movies the week before without having trailers being started first.

 

By the way. any plans for a cinemavision plugin for ET? This is the only reason why I have to still use KODI for my Theater room even though I like ET skin. Its a great tool for KODI. Would be great for ET. :-)

Hi.  The reason is that is what Cinema Mode does - it plays trailers and intros before the actual film.

It had not played any trailers before yesterday so it never gave me the situation as described above.

 

I knew about this feature, but always thought it would only be enabled when selecting this option from the play menu, just as cinema-vision does. However looking at the play menu I dont see this option, so it is only server side enabled.

It is server enabled and if enabled at the server level, then each app will have an in-app option as well.
