vaise 340 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Hi, I am attaching some pictures to explain this better. The wife has pointed this all out. I have a library view over the nextPVR recordings, and I would like the newest stuff up the top all the time. For some reason, I cant seem to get this to work properly - date added, descending (but tried others) : I would also like (for the future) a way of saying I don't want the pictures, just the titles, with the recording dates next to them (like I could on the very old windows media centre). This is the content, and the dates, two folders here have 2 recordings in them if that matters). The list in this windows explorer view is the same order id like them to be on any emby client. : This is the view on the web emby page : On the roku TV screen, on the * options, I can only select release date, and this is what I get : Further to this - the new beta plugin option for NextPVR has exactly the same issue, but I have stopped using that now and removed it from the users profiles.
Luke 42089 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Hi, it works just fine. Check the added value for each of the items in the folder.
vaise 340 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 I did - the diana one is 2017 - so should be at the end all the time :
vaise 340 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 OK - made some headway here - Issue is resolved. One of the folders had a year of 1901 on it - Fixed. The married at first site had US date format (month first) Once I fixed those two issues it is all in the correct order. Note - neither of these dates were caused by me manually entering any dates to nextPVR or emby - it did it itself somehow - may be a bug - will have to watch closely going forward). Thanks.
vaise 340 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Spoke a bit too soon - the emby web app is correct now - but the roku is still not. Have exited out and back, it only had date added - not decending/acending or anything, and the order is the same as the photo I took earlier in this thread. Do I need to do anything special with the roku ?
vaise 340 Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 I have removed the offending media causing an issue in the roku - I think the roku is missing the decending sorting order that the web app has - need the newest at the top really.
ebr 16199 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 I think the roku is missing the decending sorting order that the web app has - need the newest at the top really. This is already the default sort for both date added and release date in the Roku app.
