Server updating/installing to wrong location

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I know I saw a thread after the last update where @@ebr noted this was due to the username having a space in it...

My windows username is Dlgoth Riknueth (don't ask).

Updating keeps putting it in c:\users\dlgoth\system

Proper location obviously should be c:\users\dlgoth riknueth\appdata\roaming\Media Browser Server\System.

If I delete and restart, it re-downloads the update.

Downloading the setup.exe from the website installs properly, updating within the program doesn't.

What's the username on the filesystem? Is it

C:\Users\Dlgoth Riknueth

Yes.  Sorry, edited the original.  I put the wrong location as to where it was installing.

Yep.  As I said before it would take two update cycles for this to get fixed because the code running to do the update is in the previous version.  After now, it should be fine.

Alright, that's cool.   Like I said I couldn't find that post, I just remember seeing it but didn't recall the full details.

And before someone suggests it, yes I tried the Search function
