I want to watch a movie in my bedroom and cast it to a Chromecast but for some reason my phone can’t pick the server up.I have restarted Emby Server. Luke 42078 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Hi, what do you mean exactly by "can't pick the server up"? You've attached a transcode log from a playback session which seems to suggest you at least made it that far?
billy24752 0 Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 What I mean is when I open Emby up on my mobile nothing happens, the circles go around for a bit then a screen comes up stating select server, my server is on the screen I click connect nothing happens, a message comes states, we’re unable top connect to the selected server right now.The server is working, as I can as previously stated access Emby via MY PC using Emby Theatre

billy24752 0 Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 Been away hence the slow replies. I click on my server on my phone. Blue circle swirls around then after a while the error message comes up which I stated above.
Luke 42078 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Ok, instead of clicking on your server, can you try clicking on "Add Server". You will then be prompted to enter the server ip address. Please try doing that, and then click "Connect". Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
billy24752 0 Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 I tried that, it just came up with the following message “connection failure we’re unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again”It is up and running as I can use Emby Theatre with no issues on my PC
