Coverart images are not being refreshed automatically

I'm using the CoverArt server plugin and I'm very happy with it. But I'm having a problem with movie collections/box sets, where the disc images of the single movies are built into the collection poster.

When for some movie the disc image is not being fetched automatically and you manually add it afterwards, the corresponding collection poster is not being updated automatically, so you still see a blank disc. You have to refresh the item with the option "replace all images", which becomes a problem if you manually chose the collection poster.

These are too much steps to do, especially when you want to refine your whole library:

- manually add the disc image to the movie

- refresh the collection with "replace all images" enabled

- manually set the collection poster back to the desired one

 

Maybe you have an idea to make this process less painful.

The presence of the child's disc image is just something we don't take into account in determining if the parent box set needs to be refreshed.  We had to take some of these small items out to improve performance of the plug-in.

 

The issue is that is a rare situation and it only affects one style of treatment.

 

At this time, I think you'll just need to manually refresh them.
