Hi,

When playing a video, if you change the bitrate of transcoding you can't get back to the original value (or direct play if it was the case) because there is no item on the menu :

I think I noticed this too once when playing around w/ bitrates as a test, and I think I found Auto at the bottom of the menu.  I'm not entirely sure though, it was a long time ago and I use Auto 100% of the time.

Thanks for your answer.

In my case there is no more options if i go up or down on the list.

Here are some pictures from a file that has less bitrate items on the menu.

Original bitrate is 21Mb/s, if i change it, i can't go back to original bitrate with the menu.

Hi.  Changes during playback only affect that one playback session and only values that are relevant to the content being played are shown.

Therefore, you just change it to the highest value if you want full quality.

Does that answer your question?

It's not a big problem of course, i was just pointing an inconsistancy : on my 2 lasts pictures, we can see that the original bitrate is 21Mpbs, and that value is not available in the bitrate changing menu (max value is 5Mbps)

Or is it the "21Mbps" info that is wrong ?

The 21 value is your default "Max bitrate" setting but, when you modify a single playback session, we don't present you with all the options that would make no difference (i.e. everything above the actual bitrate of the content).

OK thanks, so that's just a misunderstanding.

Maybe replacing the "default max bitrate" display with the actual value could be more understandable.
