Emby pauses during play but will not resume

While playing emby through my fire tv stick, it would pause, but not resume. I would back out of the program and try and log back on but i then get a message that it can not connect to configured server. My wife and I were watching the same show (different episodes) on 2 tv's with both of them being fire sticks. Funny thing is my daughter's tv, which is a roku, was playing a different show but there was never any issue or freezes. Her roku is hooked up wireless also. I'm including both logs.

How did it pause in the first place?

It would just stop.....the picture would freeze. Only way to.get everything playing again was to reboot the server. Oh....my server is an i5, 8gigs of ram, win10 pro & it's only used for emby. I built it last year.

Have you made sure to also submit an in-app log?

Thanks, but unless you can reproduce the exact same problem right before submitting the log, it won't show us what happened.

 

If the issue is persistent, please do that.  However, this sounds like there was a temporary network disruption on those devices while you were playing that show.
