Transcoding

I wanna know how to generate the best file format that doesn't need transcoding, and how to lock the transcoding options. 

There has a:

720p 10 Mbps

720p  5 Mbps

720p  4 Mbps 

.

.

.

480p

360p

240p

 

Could you explain to me why this?

Hi.  There are just too many factors involved to give you a simple answer.  It depends on exactly what you need to play the items on.  Generally, h264 video and AAC audio in either an mp4 or mkv container are fairly well supported across devices.

 

Transcoding
