plugin for categories books on library?

when i added library folder, there are option for content type: Books

 

what kind of files type that support Books on emby?

i tested pdf files, but not showing anything after i click the file on emby web. the only way to open it, is download the file.

 

are there any plugin for read pdf directly from emby?

 

i read about emby bookshelf but no link for download.

 

or what kind file extension that support emby out of the box? maybe i can convert it

Currently download is all it allows. It is no longer a plugin and packaged as part of emby. I pretty much have the same complaint - it should open on the fly as opposed to downloading, and handed automatically to the default reader; whether that reader is part of the OS or integrated into the browser. I have requested for the change in a post today.
