Emby server not restarting after update

Hello Everyone,

 

 I am currently on Emby Server 3.2.36.0.  I also use Emby for WMC as well.  I noticed while watching a movie from my WMC client I received a prompt stating Emby Server needed to restart to apply updates.  After I restarted I noticed the server did not come back on.

 

What I am seeing is that every time I manually start Emby it is prompting to install update 3.2.70.0 and to restart.  Whenever I click the restart button from the Dashboard the server never starts up and I need to start it manually.  However it appears it never applied the update therefore prompting me to restart again.

 

Attached are the logs before the restart and the new set when the server shuts down.

 

I have tried all the different browswers and I have WMC closed on my HTPC while I am restarting the server.  I have also exited my TrendMicro antivirus client.

 

Seems like its stuck up applying the update?

 

Any help would be appreciated and please let me know if you need anything else.

Have you tried downloading the server installer from the Emby website and running it over the top of your current install?

Doing this fixed the issue for me.
