Cannot find the Emby App

I don't own that TV but checking this model on the LG website I can see on the technical specs this: FHD: 1920*1080 

Is there any other specific thing that I need to look after?

Is it possible that some of the 1080 TVs actually run the smart UI at 720p and that is the designation that counts...?

That's what my TV does LH604V

 

Hopefully the next update will be available for 720p webui also.

I got told when contacting LG.

It's usually the low end TVs. The link below was the resource they provided but it's for app developers not users.

@@NearWinter they're saying we need to support 720p for the app to be available for your device.

 

And that probably explains it for the rest of you. Your TV might support 1080p during playback but the apps run at 720p.

Does it require you guys to do any UI updates to publish in 720p or is it just selecting that device category and hoping it passes?

 

I remember from my Plex days that content still streamed at 1080p just the app UI run at 720p.

 

Looking forward to finally having the kids bedroom get Emby!
