I searched the forum here and didn't find anything so I'll ask here..

How to set this up? What post-processing programs are recommended for WMC / Emby LiveTV user?

TIA

What exactly do you want to do?

I want to remove commercials and maybe reduce the file size. Currently I use ServerWMC and still use WMC thanks to garyan2

so I need the processed recordings to playback in both WMC and Emby.

Is there a guide or Wiki for this? I just want to know what goes in the boxes and what other applications I may need. I presume this is for commercial removal of Recorded TV?

Thanks.

I don't believe it's needed because as far as the server is concerned, it just launching an external application and you have to supply the path to the exe along with the required command line arguments.

From the Emby side of things that's all there is to it. It's up to you to decide what post processing application you want to use, and then research whatever command line it expects.

Okay. Thanks!!

Any suggestions? Things like CommSkip come to mind?

For ease of playback in WMC still I need to retain *.wtv files or change my native Win7 codecs?
