Random stuttering and oversaturation

I'm going to try Ubuntu this weekend. Do you think this will be a good idea? Does Emby work well with this?

Yes works great, thanks.

Why not wait to see if that fixed it?

It didn't, it made it much worse.

I'm about done with Windows. I was wondering if Ubuntu will allow HDR10. I can't find anything about it on Google.

Besides thiss issue, I can't set up a Homegroup after the Fall update. I can't enable ipv6 on any of my 3 computers now. That's why PowerDVD wouldn't work.

That's weird. My homegroup is just fine and PowerDVD works. I have three Win 10 machines. The one difference is that I did clean installs with full 1709 version of win 10. I didn't use the update process.

I'll try that. I was able to get my computers to connect by making reservations for them on my router but it's still not ipv6.

Didn't do anything for me. It's still acting the same.

That's a pity. Well, it was worth a shot. You must be one of the unfortunate few that has a combination that's subject to this. I wish I had another suggestion.

And PowerDVD still won't work?

I think it only applies to apps that use the Windows Media foundation, but maybe it'll do something?

I installed Linux Mint, Installed the Nightly build of Kodi 18 and now there is no oversaturation, no banding and the color is normal with no dark or washed out image. Can you give me any advice on getting HDR now?
