Unwanted caracters on search textbox

Hi,

 

there is two wrong caracters on the search box when it's empty, maybe it is translation related ?

That is Google's component.  How did you get text in the field?  Via on screen keyboard or voice?

I can reproduce using both methods :

- Starting Emby, and pressing "up" then "OK" on the remote to focus the search button

- Pressing the "magnifying glass" button on my remote

 

i can make you a video but i guess it won't help you understanding the glitch.

I realised that the caracter glitch is also on another app (1st one on the attached picture), i guess this is a system bug like you said (maybe i should reinstall my Android TV to see if it disappear)

 

That being said, some other apps have a custom icon before the text and it's very nice
