Is there a way to force emby to download specific metadata for TV series

I tried to add the first season of Owarimonogatari into my TV library. For some reason emby identified it as this one instead, which is not correct. I tried the "Identify" option, put in the correct title and IMDB id, and it found the correct info alright. The problem is, emby immediately reverts to the incorrect one persistently. No matter that search options i use in the "Identify" page, and no matter how correct the search result is, it still goes back to "monogatari". The episode titles are all wrong too because of this. Is there a way to "force" it? I even deleted the library and did a full rescan, it still does this.

 

Edit: It seems it's using the TVDB listing as a base for it's info, which is kind of a wacky mess. Can i disable TVDB as a source of metadata?

hi, yes, under Library -> Metadata, you can make another provider your preferred provider, but be aware that tvdb is what we recommend. thanks !
