Audio tracks that are NOT from music albums

Hello,

I want to create a library of my guitar backing tracks for practice.  These are in various audio formats; some just WAV files exported by Guitar Pro), others are MP3s or WMAs from courses or purchased from sites.  How can I add these to an Emby library? I have tried every content type and they never show up.

This is a flat file structure, all the files I currently use are in one folder.

Thanks.

hi, the music library should work fine. how exactly did you try setting that up and what was empty?

I setup a Library of type music pointed to the folder.  After a library scan I see nothing - no files are shown, in Emby Theatre or any of the other apps.

If I go into the metadata manager in the server admin page I see the two videos in the folder and none of the audio files.

There is no folder structure.  The library points to C:\Users\pjmor\OneDrive\Guitar\!Backing Tracks  and there are 24 files in that folder.

Not at that computer right now to take a screenshot

What happens if you point the library to "Guitar" instead?

This should actually be OK. i'll have to setup an identical folder to test.

Hm, unfortunately this worked just fine for me, very strange. As a test, would you mind trying this with a folder that is not coming from onedrive? It really shouldn't matter but I'm just asking so that we can try and narrow it down. Thanks.
