Croll12 3 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I have a library of local movies and a library of On Demand movies from my iptv provider. I know there doesn't appear to be a way (from reading posts here) to separate the two when searching. I search for a movie that is in both libraries, the movie appears two times which is expected, but I have no way of knowing which is the local movie and which is the on demand movie. I also have an issue of displaying duplicate items on Continue Watching. I watch a movie from the library Movies and if that movie also exists in another library then it is displayed twice on continue watching. Very annoying. Is there any way to fix this? I will also note that the library Movies are local mkv files and the On Demand library are all strm files.
Luke 42085 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Hi, to join them you would have to use our multi-version features. You could rearrange your libraries to put them together: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie%20naming Or you could use the multi-select tool to manually group versions. This would be very cumbersome though.
Luke 42085 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Or if you just want to get one of them off the home screen you could easily do that with home screen settings.
Croll12 3 Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 I renamed all my Movies to title - Local.mkv and all On Demand to title - VOD.strm. They still list as duplicates and there is no way to tell which is which.
Luke 42085 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Did you also reorganize them into the same folders?
