Make change user name to respect

@Angelblue, I just backup one device and retored to another every went well, Then I changed the user name to diff one, when restart the changed name is not respected, it restore to original name, how could I make such change  to be retained.

That's how backup works. You need to create a backup of you logged in as the user you want. You can't change user after the fact.

I used a work around went into "\\192.168.1.140\Userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.emby" deleted "setting xml"

restart kodi I was prompt with emby screen>selected diff user>emby start a rescan the DB> It was fast coz the Thumbnails which take very long to has been caputured through the backup, so I am fine

Yeah, but I don't recommend it, simply because different users could have access to different libraries, causing issues down the line.  Anyway, glad it worked for you :)

Just a quick question I am on 3.07a, what is to observe and report as issues, although I noticed a fast playback. I would like to see a quick compress once playstopped before the end

My users have access to the same libraries, not a concern for me! but point taken.

What I meant is lot changes has taken placed in v3 so trying im try to review or observe those changes if any so I can advice you. Make sense.
