FR: Server - Custom commands on play, etc

Not sure if this can be done with plugins or if it would need to be built into the server but i'm currently in the process of setting up home automation and was thinking it'd be nice to be able to build into that the ability to control things like lights with mediabrowser.

 

Things like dimming the lights when starting a movie, bringing them back up if you paused or the film ends.

 

Only real issue i can think of would be having it know which room you're watching the movie in so maybe have settings depending on computer/client name with a command for Play, Pause, Resume and Stop? (Can't imagine anything else being that useful)

 

Tie this in with a wifi fridge so it knows how much i've drunk and if i'm likely to be pausing a film because i'm thirsty... or need to pee so it can turn the lights on there too!
