Audio delay not working with madVR

Adjusting the audio delay has no effect when madvr is being used. I assume any options in "video options" in emby theater only work with the MPV and not madVR.

I can adjust the audio delay with LAV audio by clicking on the LAV audio tray icon, but once the movie is closed, LAV resets the audio delay to 0. Are there any other workarounds? why does LAV not save the delay setting? It saves it just fine when I use LAV with media player classic.

Hi, this is only used with the default internal player. For the madvr player you'd have to configure it directly using the various tray icons that show up during video playback.

Why not just use the default player?

I experienced the same.  I've configured mpc-hc with madvr for HDR only to apply an audio delay for anything between 23 and 24.499 fps.  For everything else I'm happy to just use ET in hope that there will be an external player option for HDR in the future.5a69963b68d72_audiodelaympc.jpg

If you're using and external player, theater has no influence on that. If you have issues with the internal player, we can help with that. There is no exclusive option for HDR in theater for the external player. So I suspect you've set it for Blueray? Do your videos play with the external player, too?

Sorry Doofus. Not sure if that was for me. I don't use external player option. Luke has previously stated that external player for hdr only files would be possible. 99% of my viewing is not HDR, so happy to use ET with its default settings and use MPC/madvr on its own for HDR content.

That's an external player.

As for the original post. I can help you with configuring the internal player (MPV), if you want :)

No, I'm ok. Thanks for the offer. I use MPC/madvr completely outside and separate from ET for HDR. I have tried mpv with HDR and while it looks good, to my eyes it doesn't look as good as mpc/madvr. I have tried the ET external player (pointing toward mpc) before for all video files, but prefer the quicker experience of just playing non-hdr stuff within ET.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. But I am just going to use MPC -HC as an external player with emby theater. I just prefer madvr.

Just a quick note for you guys. When playing HDR in mpv, you need to use auto (copy back). If D3D11va is used, it will convert to 8 bit
