Ip restriction/allowance

Is it possible to allow 1 or more specific ip to a user? And still be able to set devices as it is today

And show each users ip in devices?

Thos would make it easyer to hold controll on all devices since many devices have unrecognizable names

I'm not sure I follow exactly what you are asking for here but you can rename devices using the server dashboard and give them a friendly, recognizable name.  Just click the device and enter a name.

What i am looking for is that i want to allow one ip to a person so that if he changes from IOS to ATV or browse from emby app i dont have to add a new device for him.. i just added the ip for that house kind of

If you're not looking to tie it to specific devices, can you not implement this yourself at a firewall level?
