Outerealm 0 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 This feature alone is very sadly missed in the EmbyCon Kodi Addon. I had the other Emby for Kodi addon for a long time, but lets face it, synching and re-synching with almost 100 shows and enough seasons to fill a 10 terabyte NAZ box - that just takes way too long and crashes often enough it made me look elsewhere. Enter EmbyCon for Kodi and that nightmare is gone. However, now also gone are the days of just picking a show, hit play and let it rip until the season is over! It's great when you got kids, you're having a party or just want to listen to the shows and you don't want to constantly have to run back to the TV to hit a single play button each and every time. So please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can that feature be added? This app seems practically bullet proof and my hat is off to the developers. Add auto play and you have a home run Thanks for everything so far!!!

Requests like this are bet posted there. To answer your question you can do that now, in the addon settings there is an Events tab, in there you can set the "play next episode after %" to say 90% this will then prompt you to play the next episode when the one you are watching is stopped after 90% complete. If you do not want to be prompted and just play the next episode turn off the "prompt before play" option just under the "play next episode after %" option. I can't find the events tab that you mentioned. I go into "Configure" and I don't see an events tab.

Just to update you - I did indeed have already set the settings to play next episode and it was set to 100%. Everything else was set to default. And it never worked. It would just go back to the videos listing I have and sit on the current video or the next one, I don't recall right now but that's as far as it ever would go. However I did try the "play next episode" at 98% - that worked! I tried 95% - that worked!! The only thing that's odd - and I can live with it - is when you want to stop the whole process from starting the next video, it wants to keep starting the next video lol. After one or two attempts to stop it - it stops. So I went from nothing to not wanting to stop playing;) Like I said I can live with that as it's a non - issue for me. I just wanted to post my results for you and others to see too. I see no other setting that might effect that but I do have auto play now!.... YAY!!!! ) You guys rock! Great app!! Thanks !!
