Xbox One Problems

Im havinng playback  problems when using Emby Theatre on Xbox.

 

Ive looked through the server logs and can find no problems.

 

Has the app been updated recently?

The latest version in the XBox store is 1.1.189 released on the 19th

 

1) From the Home screen, proceed to My Games and Apps
2) Select the Emby icon within Apps (do not start)
3) Press the following buttons at the same time
LB+RB+View Button
4)You should now see the version number on the top line

Sorry for the delayed response.
My issue is that the app becomes unresponsive once an item is done playing. It will either go back to the previous screen and hang, or just display black until the the app is closed and re-opened.

My App Version is 1.1.193.70
Server Version is 3.2.70.0

so you played something to completion, and then the app became unresponsive?

did it display the previous screen, or a black screen? what kind of video did you try to play?

My Xbox One seems to be play ok atm but last week the app froze up and I could find no way to kill the app as emby does is not listed on the home screen as a “big” tile so you can highlight it and press the select button for more options (including kill app)?

I tested playing videos to completion yesterday and couldn't reproduce. I will do additional testing today. Thanks.

No, i did notice the recent removal from the home screen. I figured it was related to system updates because the same has happened to some other installed apps (not all though).

 

It might be that there's a new manifest setting that we have to opt-into or something along those lines.

I've been having issues since around Monday with ET on XB1 just randomly pausing videos while they are playing or it going to the screensaver while a video is still actively playing.
