justinrh 260 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 using web app, server version 3.2.70.0, Windows server/client, Firefox When you are on different pages of your library while browsing, the count is always "1-100 of X" where X decreases as you progress to the end of the library. E.g., 1-100 of 337 select "K" 1-100 of 222 select "R" 1-100 of 117 On a side note, I'd prefer to not have pagination in the libraries.
Luke 42080 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Thanks for the report. We'll take a look at this.

When using the letter navigation, the list starts at the letter you choose so those counts are correct from the perspective of the data you can navigate to at that point.
justinrh 260 Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Quite right. It didn't register with me that the back page arrow is disabled and the count is actually resetting. My apologies. I misunderstood what was happening. I guess it is a strange paradigm, though, to reset the counter at a somewhat arbitrary place. What is the value? I don't recall that it is common to have the a quantity count in pagination UI. Isn't it just usually "page 1, page 2 ..." or < > ? I do like seeing the total number of items. I guess by seeing the block size I know how many are shown on a page before a new page load will occur.
