kingy444 117 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) I know you can change the DLNA Client user from the server side, I'm looking to be able to do this from the client. We all share devices, and it would be great to choose at the time of starting the device I'm assuming that the DLNA client currently browses anonymously when no user is assigned, so i guess you need to add a 'None/Anonymous/Guest' to the list aswell for visiting devices to use that dont want to track progress. I'm picturing the list of account names to be the first thing that you see when you access a DLNA client, and then by selecting the user name you see that users library as you currently see it. If that doesnt make sense i mocked up the below: None/Anonymous/GuestCollections Folders Live TV Movies TV etc... User 1Collections Folders Live TV Movies TV etc... User 2Collections Folders Live TV Movies TV etc... etc... Edited January 21, 2018 by kingy444
Luke 42078 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Problem is we can't control the UI on the device which means it would have to be open without a password.

Which in house - with anonymous access means uncontrolled access to the library anyway right? Never been an issue for me as DLNA is local only anyway If its a major concern, perhaps allow us to choose on the server side, which users are select-able from the DLNA client side?
