kavemankel 0 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 emby server 3.2.70.0 will not play longer than 30 minutes. I have been trying many different movie files and each one plays for a different length. Each movie will stop playing at the same time stamp ever time I have tried it. This happens regardless if I am playing it on a android tablet, x box one or direct from my computer server. The movie files play fine on VLC and other players that will play DVD image files. I have tried to get this to work for days with out success. I would like just a little help server specs: Windows 10 Pro Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4 I7-5930 3.5ghz ddr4- 32meg Nvidia Titan X Pascal 12gb 500gb Samsung SSD system hard drive 4tb file storage with 1.5 used. emby server log.pdf

kavemankel 0 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Playing Red 2 last night and today tried it yesterday on x box 1 from server. it stopped at 29:56. use the back arrow it takes me back to movie menu screen and Tried it on my android with same result. Tried it direct on my computer server with same result. Devices have no problem finding server and displaying server content and accessing it. Music plays just fine. Problem comes from trying to play Movies, each movie will play to a different time length but that movie will always hang at the same point. I have not been able to get any of them to play longer than 35 minutes. emby server log 2.pdf
kavemankel 0 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 does anyone have any answers or suggestions. Is this a new or old problem? Has anyone else encountered this?
Luke 42086 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Ok I see you're trying to play a dvd folder rip with the web app? Can you try a plain video file? You shouldn't see this with a video file. Remember that DVD folders in the web app are only experimental. You have been seeing the warnings about that, right?
