Hello Luke,

I changed one setting related to audio and the conversion and playback are working as expected.  This is based on the observations earlier by Doofus that the audio stream was a strange format.

I selected "Preserve original audio when converting recordings (when possible)" and now it behaves much better.  The only difference is that the audio stream has a higher bit rate and the files are a little larger.

Please use this information when troubleshooting. Is handbrake being used as the transcoding system?
