Heads Up for MalwareBytes AntiMalware users...

Emby Server v3.2.70.0

 

MalwareBytes AntiMalware just completed an update & promptly decided that 'EmbyServer.exe' is ransomeware. Service was shut down & the executable quarantined, requiring a reboot.

 

After the reboot, you can restore the executable from quarantine & exclude 'system' folder from further detection until they fix their definitions.

 

If you are a user & haven't been bitten yet, I would suggest adding the exclusion before you do.

 

Update: MWB reports 'the fix is in'. Stand down.
