Ready to try again - recording setup in windows?

Hi,

 

Tried Emby about a year ago but the lack of recording setup in windows was a deal killer.

Is that available now? And watch while record?

 

Read a lot here but could not find it.

 

And before I jump in...

 

I have a separate windows server with several PCI tuner cards.

I can install Emby server on that machine and install the windows app on another machine and watch/record live TV?

 

I defected to Media Portal and MP1 was not too bad but I switched to MP2 and it's riddled with bugs. I hate to criticize free SW but the setup is maddeningly complex.

 

If the Emby DVR feature can match the ease of use of WMC/Tivo they will really have something.

Yes we support recording, as well as watching while recording.

As I remember, in windows you could not schedule a recording. You had to use a phone.
