Version 3.2.70.0 Custom User Agent.

I see in Version 3.2.70.0 we have the option for a custom user agent. Could someone explain to me how this functionality works?

Hi, it's only something that you would use if you know that you need it.

 

But it is available on the M3U tuner setup screen as well as the XMLTV setup screen. You enter a value and then that value will go into the User-Agent http header when downloading data.

I don't see it. If I have m3u's already configured. Would I have to delete the old ones first before it shows up?

Thanks luke good call. It was caching but also just so you know if it was existing. I do have to remove the m3u's for me to edit them and get the header options. Was that intended?

Yes. For example if you Google chrome user agent, you'll find some examples to make it look like chrome.
