tdiguy 99 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) I am not sure just when emby crashed but i am guessing at 4am? I have attached the 2 server logs if you can tell me what happened. ** Just realized i have the server restart scheduled at that time, is the server restart plugin not working well with the new version? server-1.txt server.txt Edited January 19, 2018 by tdiguy
Luke 42078 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 There isn't really any evidence of a crash here, but i would remove the restart plugin if you don't need it. thanks.
dcrdev 255 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Probably the systemd issue - @@Luke said it was changing, but the systemd unit until recently was configured to always restart. When triggering shutdown in Emby, systemd would bring it back up again - if the automatic restart plugin wasn't precise to a specific second - then this would probably loop over and over again; just speculation as I don't use that plugin.
tdiguy 99 Posted January 19, 2018 Author Posted January 19, 2018 If i find i have problems with runaway cache again i will probably just make a script. Wonderful thing about linux nearly anything can be done via script and nearly any script can be called with cron.
