Hydro 5 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Hi I have a problem when I download a movie through emby theater. I have emby server on windows and a windows tablet with emby theater. On my tablet I choose a movie, click download, choose quality and wait for it to be transfer. Once transfered, when I play it, the length of the movie is very long like 1195:17:18 instead of 124 for example. Did I miss a settings or something ? On network folder, I can open the movie with VLC and it's the right time. I just check and if I play the movie through emby on my tablet, same problem. So it doesn't seems to be related to download. ebr 16184 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Hi. Is this a folder rip (video_ts or bdmv)? If so, transcoding these items is experimental and will not necessarily be reliable.
Hydro 5 Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 Thank for your help. It's a mkv file. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Hydro 5 Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 On another emby, if I play the movie directly, the length is ok. Maybe something to do with this installation. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Hydro 5 Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 (edited) Ok I do more test (that I must did before...), The results : - if I played the movie directly on my tablet with emby : good length - if I play the movie directly on my phone with emby : good lenght - if I download the movie to my tablet through emby and play it with emby : wrong length - if I download the movie to my tablet through emby and play it with VLC : wrong length I currently download the same movie to my Android phone to see if the problem occur on my phone too. Edit : no problem on download movie on my Android phone. Edited January 16, 2018 by Hydro
Luke 42079 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I'll test this out, thanks. I wonder if the download just got corrupted somehow.
