Is it possible to override a recording schedule?

Lets say I have a series recording with the following options:

 

- Record only new episodes

- Dont record episodes already in my library

 

Now lets say I am browsing through the schedule list for a series and for some reason I want to record a repeat (bad original recording - accidently deleted it - its a repeat but I dont have it in my library etc). 

 

Is there any way to schedule an episode to record if it goes against the above settings? The scheduled list record button on the right is grayed out so you cant do it there. It seem like there should be an easy way for a on off recording?

Hi, yes you can use the guide to record that individual episode. We need to make this possible on the series screen as well, we just haven't done that yet.

Being able to do it from within the series screen would be ideal as navigating the guide for a single episode is not an easy task.
