MBT doesn't play .mov trailers from remote server

So I try to play a trailer and I get "There was an error processing the request".  The MBT log file indicates that the object could not be found on the server.  When I check the server folder, there is the .mov trailer file and if I run MBT (same version) on the server, the .mov trailer plays fine.  Checking other .mov trailers from MBT, they also consistently fail to load when running from my HTPC. 

 

.mkv trailers are not a problem - only .mov trailers and only when MBT is accessing the server remotely.  By this I mean on the same LAN with a different IP address; not even external from my house (router).  If I use mkvmerge to convert the .mov on the server to a .mkv, it also plays fine from HTPC/MBT.  So it seems to be either an issue with the .mov format or an indexing problem that is possibly being corrected when a new file is created.
