Can't play animated GIFs with the last version of Emby server

play animated GIFs is important to me,will it be fixed soon?

 

by the way, my Emby Server's version is 3.2.60.14 now

I'm very shocked to hear this.I'm pretty sure animated GIFs was supported before.

 

I can even say that one of the most important reason I started to use Emby instead of PLEX is Emby support animated GIFs.

 

 

 

 

Now I found the reason, animated GIFs is supported on mono version ,but not supported on .NET core version.

 

I just remove my mono version and install the .NET core version.

 

But if you still doesn't have a plan to support animated GIFs on .NET core version, I think I need to back to the mono version, and I will never use the .NET core version.
