expternal players in emby wmc

Hi, I used mediabrowser in the past with wmc to playback blu ray films via arcsoft totalmedia (I do this as I have an asus xonar hdav 1.3 which can pass though dolby truehd and dts-ma,) I have recently dusted off the old htpc and installed emby server.

I am running windows 7 and latest version (to current date 12th jan 2018) of emby server, i cannot seem to locate an option to select an external player in the server settings and in wmc emby settings, I cannot locate the configurator app which i used in the past on media browser to select the extenal player, can anyone tell me where I am going wrong.

Start menu shortcut SHOULD have been created when EMC was installed (to target):

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaBrowser\MediaBrowser\Configurator.exe"
