Podcast plugin not showing feed

Hi,

 

I am trying to index a local rss xml file but the podcast is not showing up in the library. no errors are found in the log either.

 

The emby server is running on his own computer and the xml RSS feed file is located on the external NAS drive on the network where also the podcasts are located.

 

I used the following path to the file:

 

 

 

smb://multimedia-nas/media/PODCASTS/What On Earth Is Happening/WOEIH-Podcasts.xml

 

Am I doing something wrong with the url?

I haven't checked the plugin but does the UI indicate that it supports local files? i thought it was urls only if i recall correctly.

Hi Luke,

 

It only says "Enter a URL for a valid xml RSS feed."

 

Would be great if local rss works as I have many stored locally.
