Minimize/Maximize/Close Buttons Persist During Playback

Recommended Posts

As of tonight I noticed that the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons in the upper right-hand corner don't disappear, they persist the entire way through playback.  I am running the latest version of Theater, Server (with Premiere key), and Java.  A screen cap from halfway through a show is included.

Try uninstalling ET and then re-installing from the web site - it worked for me on two different PCs.

Glad to hear you were able to quickly resolve the issue. :) Hopefully it is the same for tskorick

Already performed a complete uninstall (remove all traces), then reinstalled (downloaded the 'setup.exe') on the laptop, however the problem remains so far.

If it helps anyone it only occurs for me when 'Settings/Display' is set to 'Desktop'. If I choose 'Auto', 'Mobile/tablet' or 'TV' the issue goes away.

Also only noticed this yesterday. Both the Emby Server and ET have been updated to their current versions for sometime though.

It will resolve itself, thanks.

Hi, sorry, can you clarify? It will resolve itself / go away after some time? Or it will be resolved in the next update?

For me, they are always on, no matter what I do or what I'm watching. I'm in TV mode.

Thanks

I am also in TV mode and they wont go away, not sure what he meant by it will resolve itself.

Try restarting the app and see if the issue persists. Thanks.

its still there, however I got it to go away by going into settings while playing video and doing stats for nerds and then going back and turning them off.

App and computer were restarted numerous times, app was manually downloaded and reinstalled. Gave it another shot just in case; they won't go away.

Turning stats for nerds on and off has no effect on my side.

Same issue here - win 10 pro 64 and switching from TV to desktop, enabling/disabling stats for nerds, and uninstalling/reinstalling haven’t resolved the problem.

Okay Luke, thanks for the reply. Still no joy at my end, but no worries; I have a workaround until it's sorted. Cheers.

Yeah, the back arrow missing and the exit icons etc not going away, are not resolving themselves. How long should we wait? As I'm using the test build, I'm going to delete it and unzip it, again. Hopefully it'll pull down the updates.

That appears to have resolved it

Evening

+1 here, thought I was going mad and had just missed it being there for weeks.

Best
