Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I have several playlists I created. When I choose to play any movie in the list by selecting "Play All From Here", Emby will only play the first movie in the list. Doesn't matter which movie in my playlist I choose, it will always play the first movie. If I move one of the movies to the top, then that movie will be the first movie to be played. In the screneshot I tried to play Minions and instead Big Hero 6 played. Server v3.2.60.0 server-63651124548.txt

Luke 42079 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 You mean that remote control app? Ok well there are new api changes it will need to be updated to support. That's the reason.
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 (edited) Ah OK. Thanks Luke. The Playlists used to play correctly beforehand. I guess an update broke this. Hopefully the changes will be in a future update soon. My wife likes to watch her movies when she sleeps. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Edited January 10, 2018 by Scott750
Luke 42079 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 It will need to be an update to that mpchc app.
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 (edited) I thought Emby sends the signal to MPC-HC on which movies to play? The playlists were working previously. I don't know which Emby update broke this. How would MPC-HC need to be updated? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Edited January 10, 2018 by Scott750
Luke 42079 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 not mpc-hc itself, just the remote control app you're using.
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 (edited) So I have Emby remote control to Emby for WMC then WMC is programmed to play movies in MPC-HC. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Edited January 10, 2018 by Scott750
Luke 42079 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Ok so it's emby for WMC that needs the update. Thanks. @@ebr 1
ebr 16184 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Does it work properly if you use the internal player?

Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 So why not just do that?I have MPC-HC use MadVR. Makes the movies look better. Should I start a thread in the Emby for WMC forum? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 Or can MadVR be incorporated into chrome HTML5? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Why not try Emby Theater, it has a better looking default internal player, and if needed you can always add mpc-hc as an external player.
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 I have tried Emby Theater. Playing a single movie does great, but it has never played my Playlists properly. Either it doesn't play the movies in order one after the other when selecting "Play All From Here" or it doesn't start the right movie I select. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Scott750 29 Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 I will definitely try it again. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
