Question Regarding Cache and Snapshots

I'm restructuring my ZFS root pool at the moment to optimise things a bit more for offsite send/receive. In regards to Emby I have /var/lib/emby/transcoding-temp as it's own dataset, which is excluded from snapshots for obvious reasons.

 

I was just wondering if there will be any consequences of also doing the same for the cache directory i.e if I restore a snapshot that includes and empty cache directory - will Emby continue to function?
