FlyGuy94 6 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I currently have a problem with recordings in emby where an eps has no eps and season in the metadata. I know emby uses those to check if the episode already exists. And it causes recording duplicates. (The not sure how its said in English) SUB-TITLE? The text beneath the main title. Are exactly thesame. Is it possible to use those to see if an episode is not a duplicate. I will post an example picture later in the day. It will be easier to understand what I mean.
ebr 16184 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I don't think we can rely on that kind of textual information. For example, all NFL Football games would have "NFL Football" as that text.
FlyGuy94 6 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 How about an option that you can change in the idividual scheduals section? Is that an option?
ebr 16184 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 We have to be careful about how complex we make the setup just to work around bad data but we will be improving the entire recording process (conflict resolution, etc.) in a future update. 1
FlyGuy94 6 Posted January 12, 2018 Author Posted January 12, 2018 xmltv from https://www.yeloplay.be/ using webgrab++guide.xml
Luke 42078 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Ok, this xml doesn't contain any show id's and that's the reason for the duplicates.
