CatSama 1 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 (edited) It seems like Emby always use the old cache data instead of download the newest. I can see this problem everyway. For example, I have a movie that I can't find any info from TheMovieDb, so emby used "screen grabber" to generate a screenshot as the movie‘s poster. Now I added this movie’s info to TheMovieDb,and "Identify" this movie again, I can see the info I added, but when I try to download this info, I found emby still use the screenshot as the poster. I "Edite images" and deleted this screenshot and try again, still the same result. Not just the movie's poster, the cache problem also happend in picture's metadata. I have a picture named "A.jpg",and it has a metadata of title "B". So when I put this picture in a picture library, emby will scan it's metadata and named this picture by "B". now I deleted the picture's metadata, and choose “Refresh metadata”,but the picture still named by "B". even I choose "edit info" and change the title from "B" to "A", but once I refresh this picture, the name back to "B". It also happend in some audios, I changed a audio's embedded image and "Refresh metadata",but it still display the old image. I really need this problem to be fixed, thanks. Luke 42078 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Emby will cache MovieDb data for up to a couple days, so if you just updated MovieDb, then give it a try in another day or so. Thanks.

OK,but how to explain the picture's medata problem and the audio's embedded image problem I mentioned, I found these problem in 1/8/2018 and posted it in that time, now it's already a week, but the problem still there.

Sorry,my bad. about the picture's medata problem ,I deleted the picture's metadata by "right-click" → "roperties",but it doesn't really delete them, I can still see the metadata by photoshop. So I deleted the metadata by photoshop, now it shows the right name.
