Channels still show up when disabled with parental controls

I've set up a 'Kids' account up and set custom parental controls as TV-Y7. I've manually labeled each channel that is TV-Y7 or above. The Guide and Channels listings are correct. But inside the Kids account I can still see programs that aren't TV-Y7 listed in "On Now", "Movies", "Sports" and so on. I can also see all the recordings I've made, although I assume that can be fixed by setting the parental ratings for each recording I've made.

This happens on Android and the Web client

Edit: Sounds like this issue is duplicated from this post. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/50415-parental-control-in-live-tv/

Thanks for the quick reply. I was doing that just as we speak :-D

Thanks. We should obviously improve this and remove the need to do that, but in the meantime that will do it.

There is still a problem with this associated with 'Block items with no or unrecognised rating information:'. I have several thousand movies so it's very handy to have this enabled just in case a movie doesn't have a rating.

But the option doesn't affect "On Now", "Movies", "Sports" (and so on) parental controls. The obvious work around is to define each channels ratings.

Thanks for the quick response!

You would probably think we should add Live TV programs as another option in that list.  However, I think that the effect would be negative for 90% of the people who turn it on since live TV frequently has no or unrecognized ratings.

Right, we have to remove that option for Live TV because it just creates unnecessary troubleshooting. People used to enable the option and then come back and report that their guide is blank. It forced us to adjust.
