Can't add library, windows home server.

Hi all,

I have loaded EMBY server on to two micro servers running windows home server 2011, the first install worked ok. On the second server though after I have added a library file nothing happens, I select the folder, set the basic info regarding meta data and then ok it then takes me back to the first screen, showing the library name etc, when I click the next button the button dims for a second or so and that's it, nothing happens.

Any suggestions as to what might be the issue?

Hi, there's no obvious errors here. Have you tried again a second time to add the library?

Hi,

Thank you for your help, I did  some more investigating and found the web browser was disabling Java script, I changed the security settings on the browser to allow Java to run and this cured the issue.

Thanks for your help.

Surprising you were even able to get that far though with javascript disabled.

Interesting part is looking at windows home server 2011 I can't find Jarva controls anywhere, when I discovered Jarva was disabled I went looking

for the Jarva control panel, there isn't any. I installed Jarva still no joy, removed Jarva and then disabled the Explorer enhanced security features

and that solved the issue.

Yes IE ESC is a issue when directly configuring Emby on the Server.  It is mentioned on the Can't install Emby help topic.
